Prototyping
Our prototyping approach involves two primary stages: ALPHA and BETA prototypes.
An ALPHA prototype is a low-cost, functional model designed to validate the core concept of a product. It often utilizes off-the-shelf parts and existing components, assembled with materials like duct tape and hot glue. While it may not be aesthetically refined, its primary purpose is to demonstrate whether the idea works in a real-world context. A bit like Frankenstein's monster.
Following the ALPHA stage, the BETA prototype is developed to closely resemble the final product, incorporating appropriate materials and custom parts as necessary. This stage aims to gather critical information through focus groups, independent testing, and internal evaluations by both the client and Ty-Ni Design. Insights gained from the BETA prototype are essential for refining the product before proceeding to manufacturing.
Ty-Ni Design's prototyping services are tailored to balance innovation with practical considerations, ensuring that concepts are not only creative but also viable, functional, and cost-effective for the target market. Our philosophy emphasizes delivering design concepts that are both aesthetically pleasing and manufacturable, considering real-world constraints from the outset to streamline the development process and minimize unexpected challenges.
By adhering to this structured prototyping methodology, Ty-Ni Design effectively transforms your inventive ideas into inspirational products, supporting you through each stage of product development to achieve successful market-ready solutions
